Frequently asked questions
You may be wondering…
How do I send an SMS reminder from Outlook?
From the SMS Meeting panel inside your appointment: choose a template or type your text, enter the recipient’s mobile number, then save the appointment. The reminder is scheduled.
Can messages sent from Outlook be personalised?
Yes. You write tailored messages (1 SMS = 160 characters) and insert the recipient’s name, the date, time and address of the appointment using dynamic shortcodes.
Can reminders be scheduled in advance?
Yes — that is the default behaviour. You set the delay (for example 48 hours and 2 hours before) and sending is scheduled automatically when the appointment is created.
Does the add-in work with shared calendars?
Yes, on the Pro plan. A user with several shared calendars can create appointments on their behalf and trigger the matching reminders with a single licence.
Is a licence needed per user?
Yes: one licence per user who sends reminders from their mail client. Messages themselves are bought separately as shared packs.
