This policy describes the personal data we process through the sms-meeting.com website and the SMS Meeting service, the purposes of that processing and the rights available to you.

Data we process

On the website: strictly necessary browsing data and, if you write to us, the information you enter in the form (name, organisation, email, phone, message). In the service: the data you entrust to us in order to send messages (recipient number, message content, timestamp, delivery status), together with your user account data.

Respective roles

For your recipients’ data, you are the data controller and SMS Meeting acts as a processor, under an agreement compliant with Article 28 GDPR.

Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service (performance of the contract), answering your enquiries (legitimate interest), accounting and legal obligations (legal obligation), audience measurement and marketing (consent, where required).

Retention periods

Account data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and then archived in line with legal obligations. Sending data is kept for as long as needed for tracking and billing, then deleted.

Recipients and sub-processors

Our hosting and message routing providers, selected for their security guarantees and bound by contract. An up-to-date list is available on request. Your data is never sold.

Transfers outside the European Union

Our processing takes place within the European Union. Any transfer would be covered by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object and port your data. These rights can be exercised at dpo@sms-meeting.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
